New Zealander Callum Gordon (SoCalCycling.com Team) continued his good form with a fast climb up Glendora Mountain Ridge Road (GMR) to earn 4th on the day and a spot on the podium!
Just prior to the start of the Dominguez Hills Criterium it started raining, so going fast from the gun was on the minds of some of the riders in the field. On Saturday July 16th, Adrenaline Cycling hosted the Adrenaline Twilight Grand Prix. This was an unusual race for Southern California as it was hosted at 8pm on Saturday night around the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. The race course was challenging with a nice hard hill on it, as well as a 180 degree hairpin off a slight downhill. The Pro 1/2 field started off the race with around 50 riders on the start line. On Sunday June 19, 2016, Majestic Cycling hosted the Victorville Criterium around the main streets of City Hall. The event was once again held under some very serious heat which made the race tough and challenging and trying to keep cool on the day would play a big factor.
