With the weather being a factor at these last few races the fields have been reluctant to race with the heat reading at nearly 100 degrees or above as it was the day before at the Majestic Cycling Crit in San Bernardino. The Pro 1/2 field had approximately 30 plus guys and some of the Teams had two or three riders per each team. The challenging Jurupa Valley Grand Prix course and the heat of the day we’re going to […]
On Saturday July 16th, Adrenaline Cycling hosted the Adrenaline Twilight Grand Prix. This was an unusual race for Southern California as it was hosted at 8pm on Saturday night around the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. The race course was challenging with a nice hard hill on it, as well as a 180 degree hairpin off a slight downhill. The Pro 1/2 field started off the race with around 50 riders on the start line. From the gun there were a […]
On Sunday June 19, 2016, Majestic Cycling hosted the Victorville Criterium around the main streets of City Hall. The event was once again held under some very serious heat which made the race tough and challenging and trying to keep cool on the day would play a big factor. The race course was absolutely awesome with six corners with big wide roads on good tarmac. This was not your usual four corner industrial park criterium! This course was fast and […]
The City of Victorville and Majestic Cycling hosted the Victorville Road Race on Saturday, June 18th. The Pro 1/2 field was relatively small with only 20-25 riders. The heat was absolutely blistering so this would make the 14 lap / 84mile race a serious race of attrition with temperatures getting close to the 100 degree mark. The race course was held on a 6.1 mile lap with something for everyone with some flats, wind, tight twisty turns and a nice […]
The Pro 1/2 field at the San Marcos Criterium started off with around 50 riders for the day. The course was a decent size lap with 5 corners and a nice headwind climb. The race conditions were good on the day but the wind played a big factor for some solid racing. The SoCalCycling.com Team only had two riders represented on the day with Quinten Kirby and Wesley Eslick. Early on during the race there was a solid spilt of […]
